Privacy policy — Mobile application
This policy describes how Ideas Ibiza Publicidad SL (hereinafter, "the owner") processes the personal data of users of the mobile application Welcome to Ibiza (hereinafter, "the app"), available on the App Store and Google Play. It applies specifically to the app and is complemented by the general website privacy policy.

2. What data do we collect
The app collects the following personal data depending on the features you use:
- User account: email, name and encrypted password (if you register).
- Favorites: establishments, events or beaches that you mark as favorites in the app.
- Approximate location: It only shows nearby content if you activate it. You can deactivate it at any time from the system settings.
- Push notifications: An anonymous device token to send you relevant notifications (events, offers), if you give us permission.
- Technical data: Device type, operating system, app version, language — to provide the appropriate content and debug issues.
- Anonymous usage statistics: What screens you visit, time spent in the app, errors. Without personally identifying you.
3. Purpose of treatment
- Allowing you to use the app and all its features.
- Remember your preferences between sessions (favorites, language, zone).
- Send you push notifications if you have subscribed.
- Improve the app through anonymized statistical analysis.
- We will answer your questions through our contact channels.
4 Legitimation
The treatment is based on:
- Your consent — when you register, when you activate location, or when you accept notifications.
- Service execution — to offer you the app's features.
- Legitimate interest — for anonymized technical analysis and product improvement.
5. Device permissions
The app may request the following permissions. All are optional and are requested only when needed:
- Location: to show you nearby businesses and events. You can decline and the app will continue to work.
- Notifications: to notify you of events, offers and news.
- Camera/Gallery: only if you decide to upload a photo to a review.
You can review and revoke any permission at any time from your device settings (iOS: Settings → Welcome to Ibiza; Android: Settings → Apps → Welcome to Ibiza → Permissions).
6. Third-party services we use
The app integrates the following external services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Apple App Store / Google Play — distribution and updates.
- Firebase / Google Analytics for Firebase — anonymized usage statistics.
- OneSignal — push notification management.
- Google Maps SDK — embedded maps to show locations.
- API hosting on our own servers within the EU.
7. Data retention
- Account details: As long as your account is active. If you delete it, they will be deleted within a maximum of 30 days.
- Notification token: until you uninstall the app or disable the permissions.
- Analytical data: maximum 14 months, anonymized.
8. Your rights
You have the same rights as on the website: access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, data portability, and withdrawal of consent. To exercise these rights, please write to us at angel@ideasibiza.es.
From the app itself you can delete your account (Settings → Delete account), which will permanently erase all your associated data.
If you believe that the treatment does not comply with the regulations, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Agency for Data Protection (www.aepd.es).
9. Minors
The app is not intended for children under 14. We do not knowingly collect data from minors without verifiable parental consent.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in app features or applicable regulations. Substantial changes will be notified within the app itself.
