El Santa Gertrudis football field becomes the epicenter of solidarity sport with the Morna International College annual charity tournament, an event that brings together students, teachers, families and collaborators with a clear objective: to raise funds for the Ibiza and Formentera Association Against Cancer (IFCC).
The day begins with a league between students from third grade of primary school to high school, includes a match between teachers and students and, as a novelty, a female encounter starring students of primaryFurthermore, this year features the special participation of the 2023 Spanish Freestyle Football Champion, Joan Sitjar, which will offer exhibitions during the event.
The appointment is celebrated on Monday 2 of March of 2026, 10 to 00 pm.
La entry has a donation price of 5 euros, intended entirely for IFCC.
The competition begins at 10:00 a.m. and culminates with a triangular tournament between high school students, parents and teachers, followed by an exciting penalty shootout to decide the big winner of the day.
This year, the tournament has, for the first time, the collaboration of the program ELEVATE and of the club AE Santa GertrudisELEVATE will provide registered teams to enrich the competitive experience. ELEVATE is managed by the former Premier League defender. Luke Young (Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa) and the UEFA licensed coach Keenen Meakin Richards, former player of Wolverhampton Wanderers and Walsall FC.
Beyond the football, the day becomes a true family celebration: there will be barbecue, dessert sales, breakfasts, bouncy castles, entertainment, live shows and a big charity raffle with very powerful prizes, such as a iPhone 17 Proa whirlpool bath, PlayStation 5 with FC 26, a week at the ELEVATE Football Campusa whirlpool bath, UD Ibiza signed jersey with VIP tickets, a electric bicyclea whirlpool bath, stay in Pikes Ibiza and experiences in Ibiza 528, among others.
All proceeds go to IFCC, an organization that has been supporting cancer patients and their families in the Pitiusas Islands for 25 years, funding medical equipment, transfers, screening projects and improvements at Can Misses Hospital and Formentera Hospital.
