San Antonio joins the group for another year International Book Day with several days of events focusing on reading, creativity, and local culture, spread across the Municipal Library, the Paseo de ses Fonts and other spaces Township.
The programming starts on Wednesday 22 of April of 2026 in the municipal library with the storyteller “The rose and the dragon, By Anachronicat 18:00h, with free entry until capacity is reached.
El Thursday 23 of April of 2026Coinciding with Sant Jordi's Day, the same space hosts a day dedicated to roses and books, with a children's craft workshop by EducArte Ibiza, 17 to 30 pmaimed at children aged 5 to 9. Participation requires registration prior via email library@santantoni.net.
El 24 April 2026 Friday the bulk of the activities are concentrated in the Paseo de ses Fonts, which is filled with bookstalls From the 11: 00 to 20: 00 hoursDuring the morning, the following are organized: workshops for educational centers and throughout the day, book signings with local authors.
In the afternoon, at 17:30h, the Awards ceremony for the 8th Bookmark Competitionfollowed by Children's activities organized by s'Espurna, with proposals such as the creative writing workshop “The dice of stories”, the decoration of the story “Saint George and the Dragon"and the storyteller"Of fameliars, barruguets and other Ibizan characters”, with sessions at 17:00 p.m. and 18:00 p.m.
The day culminates with a Daniel Viloria concert at 19:00 pm, in trio format alongside Yese Ruiz and Rosa Cardona.
The Cervantes Cultural Center welcomes the 18:00h un book club about the work “Bad sea” de Toni Montserrat, with the participation of the author himself, while the church of Sant Antoni offers guided tours to the exhibition of the Portmany church archive, curated by Maria Torresat 11:00 or 18 hours.
All activities are free.
